On Wednesday 22nd January Reception children visited to St James Catholic Church, Twickenham as part of their Religious Education lessons. The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit and were very interested in listening to Sister Nano talk about the different features of the church. They were very well behaved and respectful during their visit. A big thank you to our parish priest, Fr Ulick, and Sister Nano for making our Reception children so welcome.

The College is grateful to WSM Partners LLP and specifically Wendy Patterson for agreeing to sponsor the boys' rugby team this year. WSM are providing a new kit so our boys will look the part for fixtures against other schools.

A visit to post our letters to Fr C webElves workshop webOur nativty play webMrs OByrne meets Fr Chrstmas

It has been a busy week for our Reception class. They performed a delightful rendition of Born in Bethlehem in their Nativity play. All children had speaking parts and through storytelling and song, they retold the story of Jesus' birth. Christmas lists were written and posted to the North Pole and the children really enjoyed a fabulous Christmas party organised the Friends of St Richard Reynolds at which they were joined by a surprise visitor - Father Christmas! Father Christmas spoke to every child in the class and he was pleased to learn that every single one of them had been a good boy and girl this year and the child thought that Mrs O'Byrne and Miss McEvoy had been good too. So impressed that he gave each child a pre-Christmas gift. Mr Burke joined the party and was rather overwhelmed to see Father Christmas in the school and delighted that he too had been good enough to have an early present. Father Christmas was given a biscuit to give to his reindeers (which he could not bring into school because they were having a rest - its a very busy time for them, you see). Father Christmas enjoyed his visit immensely and wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas.
